Эрүүл мэндийн сайд Т.Мөнхсайхан НҮБ-ын Хөгжлийн хөтөлбөрийн Монгол Улс дахь Суурин төлөөлөгч хатагтай Матилда Димовскаг өчигдөр хүлээн авч уулзав. Тэрбээр Суурин төлөөлөгчид эрүүл мэндийн салбарт хийгдэж буй бодлогын шинэ арга хэмжээнүүдээс товч танилцуулж, НҮБ-ын Хөгжлийн хөтөлбөртэй хамтран хэрэгжүүлж болох зарим тодорхой арга хэмжээний талаар ярилцав.
Тухайлбал, НҮБ-ын Хөгжлийн хөтөлбөрийн дэмжлэгтэйгээр Эрүүл мэндийн сайдын эрхлэх асуудлын хүрээнд үйл ажиллагаа явуулдаг Засгийн газрын хэрэгжүүлэгч агентлаг – Эм, эмнэлгийн хэрэгслийн хяналт, зохицуулалтын газрын хүний нөөцийг чадавхижуулах хөтөлбөр хамтран хэрэгжүүлэх, ялангуяа эм, эмнэлгийн хэрэгслийн худалдан авалт, ханган нийлүүлэлтийн гинжин хэлхээний менежментийг боловсронгуй болгоход шаардагдах чадавхыг бий болгох чиглэлээр хамтран ажиллах, түүнчлэн хиймэл оюун ухаан, цахим шийдлийг салбарт нэвтрүүлэхэд хамтран ажиллах зэрэг асуудлаар тодорхой санал солилцлоо.
Уулзалтад Дэлхийн эрүүл мэндийн байгууллагын Суурин төлөөлөгч хатагтай Сокорро Эскаланте хамт байлцаж, Монгол Улсын Засгийн газраас эрүүл мэндийн салбарт хэрэгжүүлж буй шинэчлэлийн бодлогын үр дүнд бий болж байгаа хөгжлийн үр дүнг тогтвортой хадгалахад шаардагдах чадавхыг бий болгоход НҮБ-ын Хөгжлийн хөтөлбөр, Эрүүл мэндийн яамны хамтын ажиллагааг Дэлхийн эрүүл мэндийн байгууллага мэргэжил арга зүйгээр хангаж, гүүр болон ажиллах болно гэлээ.

Yesterday, Minister of Health T. Munkhsaikhan met with Ms. Matilda Dimovska, the UNDP Resident Representative in Mongolia. During their meeting, the Minister provided an overview of the current health sector reform policies and discussed potential collaboration with UNDP to further enhance these initiatives.
The conversation focused on strategic partnerships aimed at strengthening the human resource capacity of the Medicine and Medical Devices Regulatory Authority, which functions under the jusridiction of the Minister of Health. It was specifically noted that strengthening the public procurement capacity for medicines and medical devices, as well as improving supply chain management, are critical areas where UNDP's support could be highly beneficial. Additionally, the integration of artificial intelligence and digital solutions into the health sector was emphasized as a significant opportunity to modernize healthcare services and improve health outcomes in Mongolia.
Dr. Socorro Escalante, the WHO Representative to Mongolia, also attended the meeting, reaffirming the World Health Organization's commitment to providing essential technical guidance and recommendations. Dr. Escalante highlighted the WHO's role in fostering effective collaboration between the United Nations Development Programme and the Ministry of Health, ensuring that the necessary capacity is developed to sustain the positive impacts of the health sector reform policies by the Government of Mongolia.
